BIA COMMITTEESAdvertising & Public Relations Committee - Develops, coordinates, and executes overall BIA advertising and promotion on behalf of the Association’s Members and their products and services. Building Industry Charitable Foundation (BICF) - Seeks to raise funds for the sole use of industry related choices of charity and community involvement. Codes and Standards Committee - Reviews and works closely with all code enforcement agencies in the Association’s jurisdiction to allow for a continued discussion with regard to the Building and Code Inspection processes. Commercial Council - Represents the commercial/industrial development and building community. Advocates on behalf of the commercial development industry which seeks to provide a positive climate for economic development and job creation in Louisville Metro and the region. Education - Responsible for developing and administering all general education programs and seminars of the Association. Governmental Affairs - Establishes and implements a program to assure that the association’s legislative and regulatory goals are expressed to the leaders of the community, includes state and national issues and advocacy. Identifies and recommends to the BIA PAC Committee candidates for support. Membership Committee - Membership is responsible for creating and executing the annual new member recruitment plan and for maintaining a strong membership; to provide for continued membership. Sales and Marketing Committee - Consisting of affiliate members, The Sales and Marketing Committee was founded to promote the sales and marketing of new construction and remodeling and the professionalism of the industry. *PLEASE NOTE: SMC is now a committee and no longer a council. There is no fee to be apart of the committee but you MUST be an affiliate member. Workforce Development |
